Ebook Mini Reviews for April

The first one on this list is Damnable Grace by Tillie Cole. This is book 5 in the Hades Hangman series. It follows Xavier "AK" as he sets out to find his friends girlfriends sister, who was taken by the New Zion leader to be involved in human trafficking. This book, like the others in the series, is a stand alone. It contains some serious language, intense situations, and possible triggering scenes. This series isn't for the faint of heart, and is based on actual events that go in Religious sectors. I gave it 4.5 stars.

Claiming Grace is book one in the Ace Security series by Susan Stoker. It follows Logan and Grace, two people who had a past and loved each other. Logan joins the army to get out of the little town, promising to write her. Only he doesn't. And neither does she. When they meet up ten years later, secrets come to light as Grace's parents start to become unbearable. I gave this 4.5 stars.

Cole follows Addison, a woman who witnessed her husband die in a car accident. She finds it hard to move on, and with the help of her best friend, finds a new apartment to live in. It's exclusive, and you have to get an invite to live to there. Addison isn't sure at first, but it becomes easier to mourn her husband after leaving their home. Just as Addison gets settled, her lift does an 180 in the form of Cole Mauricio, a guy with many secrets. I gave this 3.5 stars.
